Influenced by western countries a trend where weddings are mirroring a lifestyle and personality of the bride & groom is becoming very popular in Czech Republic. The engaged couples like to have the wedding reflecting their wishes and beliefs.
The most popular ceremonies are nowadays civil marriages taking place in the outdoors, Prague gardens (e.g. Ledeburska zahrada), hotel gardens, steamboats or castle gardens are among the most frequented venues.
The ceremonies are preferably held in the afternoon hours, leaving out the traditional lunch, making it possible for all wedding guests to be invited to the afternoon reception directly.
